Shade structures extend your outdoor season and add architectural character. We build cedar, vinyl, and aluminum pergolas — freestanding or attached — as well as fully roofed gazebos with optional screens, ceiling fans, and lighting.
Cedar pergolas provide a natural, warm aesthetic and are naturally resistant to rot and insects. They can be left natural to weather to a silver gray or stained/sealed for color retention. Western red cedar is our preferred species for its stability and appearance.
Aluminum pergolas (like those from Louvered Roof systems) feature motorized adjustable louvers that open for sun and close for rain protection — providing the flexibility of an open pergola and the protection of a solid roof in one system. These are increasingly popular for their year-round versatility.
Gazebo construction includes pressure-treated or cedar framing, a permanent roofing system (shingles, metal, or polycarbonate panels), and optional screen panels for insect protection. Electrical rough-in for ceiling fan and lighting is standard. Gazebos are typically set on concrete piers or a full concrete slab foundation.
